Guys what size and kind of turbo will be needed for the phazer. 500 cc 11,500 rpm? Looking for suggestions for a kit next year. Will use own piping and cooler, but not sure what size charger to use. Thanks for any info.-Dave

I've been thinking of taking a turbocharger system off an old motorcycle in the 500-750cc range. I can't see spending $3-5000 on a turbocharger system.

gt25 are all .over.May be a hair big but at that rpm should work and be able to make big boost.I dont know the gt15 would work but maybe.all the big engine quads use the 15's so who knows.cant say ive seen one in between. The gt15 is a cute little guy,I got one for my ds650.

I here mc-xpress is working on one and boondockers also plans on building one as well.I'm sure powderlites will build one. I plan on going with low comp pistons, carilla rods, beefier head studs and 20lbs of boost for hopefully around 200hp! Should be a fun little rocket!!

That would be awesome , I think I'll let you get it figured out and then I'll do it in '08 ........ ;)!

In 08 you will be wanting to turbo the new 900 Exciter.

:-) Last time I owned an Exciter was back in 1981, it was a EX440. This new EX could be some crazy fun to boost.

The kit is rear mount due to limited underhood space. I do not know the boost figure for 140hp at this point. I do know it will be similiar engine mods as the Apex, Vector, and RX1. It will also be a premium (92) octane required mod.
Looks like price will be around $4000 MCX is already taking deposits. This would be one cool little sled at 140 hp.I wonder will this motor hold up to the boost. How tough is this little 500.
