And yes,you are correct, Chris said he is "recognizing me as the record holder for a legal King of the Trail sled".

Straight from Kris's mouth today twice. My sled was legal at both Cosdra events we won. Haydays(also won best engineered sled for 2007) and Hastings and holds the record for legal King of the Trail of 4.34 at 120mph. "End of story". My puter is acting up so i can't put a smiley face. This is just the clarification I got twice today from kris. We will all meet again on the snow it will be a fun season in a fun not so serious class. I hope everyone is ready for the 30 mile trail ride....
Great job Phil!! I guess we will have to both ask Kris together because we are getting conflicting answers lol. Jason

Phil, great job on your runs at the shootout. There is no doubt that you would go on for the win, if the race hadn't been called off. You did a fantastic job and had the fastest sled there. Its too bad this post had to get polluted with the "record" controversy, as it is detracting from both of our accomplishments. Maybe we should start a new one to discuss that?
