I just bought a zx2 and it came with the 136 and the 144 ext. kits. where can I buy the 144 slides and also I believe I am missing some parts. should I have a set of wheels on the upper rear mounting arm? also the rails have a hole up front near the tip, not sure what was there and also it only came with 2 rear wheels and no outer wheels. any help would be great and if any of you have any extra parts for sale please let me know, thanks

Looks like the skid has been picked apart...looks like you're missing about 8 wheels and the corresponding mounts. I'm sorry to say that it looks like you've been had. Maybe the previous owner removed the wheels for less weight and used it in the mountains. That first hole drilled may have had a set of scratchers added. I hope you got it for a cheap price...less than $200? Google some images of the ZX2 and you'll see what's missing.
Goto Ad Boivin's website for the manual on this suspension here: http://www.adboivin.com/en/afficher.asp ... &langue=en
It's gonna cost ya over two to three hundred bucks to get it back to stock...sorry. The slides from Skidoo (profile 12 I think?) fit the rails...double check with ZX2 owners here.

I plan on using the 144, just need to find the rest of the parts that are missing.

I dont think thats fair. This is a couple thousand dollar skid new, and they dont really wear out. Used they get snatched up for 1200-1500 really fast on the rare occasions they pop up. Trust me, I looked for one for two seasons and ended up giving up and buying a brand new one. People who have these skids just simply never let go of them! If you think its only worth 200 in this condition, let me know if you have any for sale like it and I will buy ten of them!
As far as finding the parts you are missing, IIRC the only good source is from ADB direct. I think mdkuni tried sourcing wheels but was never able to find anything that was an exact match. I'd recommend checking his ZX2 log post for information, or just PM'ing him directly. I think the doo slides fit, but Kinger reported that they didnt seem to last as long as the ones direct from ADB.
Good luck! Once you get this skid installed you will be amazed at what its like to ride with it!
(still interested in those 136 extensions if they are blue BTW)

will do. in the meantime, let us know if you want measurements of the wheels and mounting hardware if you decide to try and find a different supplier.

I found a zx2 with the same "missing parts" turns out it was out of a snow hawk and would have costs 1300 to up grade.
went for a new one instead….hopefully you have better luck. ADB told me skidoo wheels will work however ADB wheels are not expensive.
The install kit is a little pricey, as are the extensions.
good luck….

I found a install kit in Ottawa On. for 95.00 used. comes with 2 plates and 4 bushings. The skid you found out of the snowhawk was it blue? I posted some pics of the upper cross frame axle.

The rear wheels (200mm) are the same as the Ski-Doo rev XP you can get the wheels and Bearings for $45 a piece from BRP If you look at the parts list from ADB you will see that most of the wheels use a 6004 bearing and thats a very common bearing size for Ski-Doo. You just gota match up the wheel size. I'm sure there are aftermarket wheels that would be cheaper than ADB ones. My experience when ordering my parts from ADB were very slow. 5 weeks to get some parts sent to me and because of this I missed out on some prime sledding.

I just did a google on the snowhawks with the zx2 and it looks like the one I just bought came out of a snowhawk. I have two mounting brackets that are not on the ad boivin parts list but I can see where they go on the snowhawk. that would also explain why both mounting cross frame shaft are only 13.5 in. wide. anyone care to help me out here with where I start to make it fit in my nitro?

if you look at the pictures I have both wheels on the upper shaft, the shaft ends are flush with the wheels and therefor I don't have a place to slide on the bushings for the mounts. I think after seeing the snowhawk pics with the zx2 in them this skid came out of one. how much work is this going to take to make it work in my nytro?
