IMO the ramair works better at hi speeds to slam air into the box...if you have a pc3 i dont see why more air would hurt.

what we found is a solid 3MPH increase(avrg)
I think what happens is when you open up airbox, the ECU adjusts and adds more fuel,i could be wrong tho.
all i know is this works well for MPH and i have over 6500 miles on it with no probs from it.

On afew sleds that we did the "Ram Air" box lid to. We had to go into the computer and turn each cylinder up on fuel..Some were +5 and one was +10 before throdle stumble was gone..Once this is set the throdle reponse is right there..I loved my air lid when i had it up untill yesterday..Works GREAT with headers and exhaust !! And the colder out it is the better !! Have nothing bad to say about this mod.

I just had one put on my Apex GT and the guy that did the work for me went into the computer and turned each cylinder up to 10. I was only able to put on 20 miles on it and I walked all over my dad's Apex without the RAM air. Plus it sounds awesome.

Can the fuel be turned up on each cylinder without a programmer??

YES...it is done in the dash unit...No PC unit is needed.Daryl1 said:Can the fuel be turned up on each cylinder without a programmer??

YES but this is only for just off IDLE....it has no effect above the bottom end,it helps if you get a slight hesitation when you first flip the throttle with ramair to clean that up.
mine was fine with ramair...from what i hear its only 1 out of 10 sleds needs it to clean that up.
