Thought you might like to see what these look like. I just installed the Yamaha a-arm protectors and they fit well and should give protection and add flotation. I installed them with stainless steel hardware rather than riviting them on as the directions said, this way they can be removed easily.

Do the A-arm protector cover the sway bars as well?

Grimm, no they don't really cover that bottom of the swaybar link that hangs down.

Are there any aftermarket companies that actually make these products as well? I can't seem to find any.

I don't understand what they protect from. If you hit anything solid, that flimsy plastic won't save anything.

hypertxer, No they are the same color, just looks different from the flash on the camera. Plastic seams pretty durable/strong same material as the skid plate. I didn't really buy for protection, more for flotation in the powder.

aftermarket a arm protectors
I got a set of USI protectors from Rich motorsports. I havent tired them out yet but are offer much more protection than the OEM. Same gauge plastic as the belly protectors.

Apex Yooper,
Is this your first 4 stroker ? If not look at your other or previous
unit or someone close by that has one without those protectors and
notice all the marks on the a-arms or the lower shock mount and you'll
soon see why this is a great idea... if nothing else it will help
the resale value down the road. If thats not enough how do you like the
powder that flys up in your face? these help in that area as well. I have
them on my Attak but i also put on the Mtn skis and i can now say that i get
very little if any snow on the rear of the sled or myself.

I know this is a pretty old post, but where did you buy those? I've been looking and can't find them anywhere! Thanks!
