Ordering Pilot 6.9 Skis and wondering what else I need? I know I need new Mount Rubbers, just wondering what has worked for others who have been there? I was considering Kimpex Arrows but they have no plans to make a wider version and flotation is a priority. Open to any suggestions all would be appreciated before I break out the Visa.

Did you try a search on here? There has been quite a bit posted on the conversion to the pilots and the hardware needed. (keep in mind that if someone is talking about Phazer conversion kits, that the spindle on the VL is wider so will require different spacers. Usually when you switch skis you'll need the rubber, new bolts, spacers, and carbides. Do you know of anyone else who has tried that ski on the VL and if it worked well? I'm pleased with the Slydogs for the most part , except they are darty in crusty conditions - but the pilots are probably less expensive. Slydogs cost me around $500 with everything including hardware, 6" shaper bars, shipping, and taxes.

all the best and let us know how it works out,
