2016 RS Venture TF
I have a pair of pilot 6.9 skis that I would like to mount on my 2016 rs venture TF. I don't see any way they could fit he Yamaha spindles. Can somebody please help.

You need the rubber mount from a skidoo zx chassis.
I had this set up on both of my sleds, took them off of the NYTRO because they pushed too much in the corners.

Your Venture is power steering right? I had Pilot's on my 2012 Apex when new. Yes you need the Skidoo ZX rubbers, but you'll need to trim them because the power steering sleds have an offset spindle.

Yes the venture has power steering. I have a pair of zx rubbers and want to know where you trim them. Thanks.

The older, non power steering Yamaha spindles and the Skidoo ZX rubbers are a perfect fit; like they were made for each other. The newer power steering spindles have an offset that sets the ski 15mm farther back. Also, the part of the spindle that sits in the ski saddle is shaped different. A simple 3/4" trim will allow the rubber to work. I used Pilot 5.7's on my Apex at first, but did not care for how the sled handled; I never tried the 6.9's on this sled. A friend of mine has 5.7's on his 2011 Apex for 5 years and likes it.

I have used Pilot 6.9's on my 2008 Vector since the winter of 2011. I removed a ski and took pictures to show you the difference in spindles and how the rubber needs trimmed. Maybe you'll find a cleaner way to trim them without having to cut away so much material?? FYI, unless there has been changes, your Venture spindle should be the same as my 2012 Apex.

I hope this helps!;)!
