Got 5.7 pilots on attak set the toe to 0 ,front springs set little on soft side ,it still darts but here in vt we got low snow and its been real cold so its rock hard should i leave it alone or try some diff adjustments?

ski

you may want to let limiter out 1 hole, also you may want to try 1/8 toe
out on each ski.

I let it out two holes and tryed it again it was better but still not enough snow for skis to work right

keep straps loose..loosen front shock springs to about max...set transfer near max...then you will be able to adjust ski pressure through the tunnel adjuster (compression/rebound adjuster)

Tunnel adjuster will not have any effect on ski pressure, It only changes the compression dampening and has a slight effect on rebound dampening. kviper

Well you might be right..but on my sled with the setup listed...firm equals way more ski pressure and soft equals way less...it's that profound..

If you're running in low snow conditions, you need Doolys to eliminate the darting. I have pilots and mine still darts too. I went to the Snowtracker carbides and they worked great on the pilots in good snow conditions like the UP of Michigan. After running them in our low snow conditions here in MN yesterday, They still act like a single carbide and dart in less than ideal conditions. Seems like you just need the Doolys or the Deuce carbides in the low snow conditions. I wont run my snowtrackers around home here anymore. The reason the pilots still dart is the second outboard carbide is higher than the center carbide and not on the same plane. It's off the ground in low snow conditions and has no pressure on it for straighter tracking. You can make all the adjustments you want, but it comes down to carbide selection to rid the Yamaha of the darting.
