Well, Ill start by telling everyone the Hauck pipe sounds AWESOME. on the bathroom scale there was a 10 lb savings over stock. Installiation of the pipe was strait forward and simple. The only thing i disliked was i had to remove some material from the heatsheild so the resonators could fit thru, but other than that everyting is great. The pipe seems very well made and there is no tinny sound what so ever. What im looking for now is someting to give me more fuel. I know already that Bender has their BRAIN and Hauck has the Fuel Accelerator. Does anyone know of any other product availabe? Also does anyone have experience with any fuel mapping product for the new 150 FI? There are also filter kits avail thru hauck for the Apex/Attak but im too poor to do those right now. The only other mod im planning is a 2* timing key supposedly good for 1-2 hp.

thanks

Can you give any account of the sound? Is it a street bike sound? I asssume it's louder than stock, but how much? I know it's not possible to be too techncial without some sophisticated equipment but maybe some idea?

i have a vid clip of the pipes and will have more by this weekend. Just dont know how to post. they are proably 50% louder than stock and sound identical to a piped Sport bike, which im sure everyone has heard, ive only blipped it to 5 or 6k so far and im impressed, i cant wait to hear 10600.

Thanks, can't help with the posting. It's probably a little louder than I should go, I'm concerned about some of the areas that I ride in. But I bet it sounds good. I see you got the Yamaha hand gards, were you able to get then to fit pretty good.

are these made to work with the stock clutching, fuel and ignition mapping?
