piviot riser and cables

I have a 7 inch rsi on mine with there pivot post installed how does that apex cover fit on there??

I had to drill out the threads on my stock steering post to mount my pivot post and run the bolts from the bottom -up through the pivot adapter

think the apex cover would still work on my application???

yeah then youve got a problem. I drilled out the riser and sent the bolts down through to the original threads on the shaft. I doubt that you have enough room to work the bolts in. The ring is 2 piece and the bottom 1/3 goes on and is sandwiched by the riser base if it is not a stock yammi riser you'll also have to machine the base to accept the ring.

Here is a close up you may be able to stick the bolts in place with plummbers putty or gum set everything in place and then tighten with a flat wrench. I used door edge molding from PEP Boys around the body work lip to give it a more finished look.

Heres mine on my 04 Warrior with the Lake Effect Snow Riser. My pivot has the cutout for the Apex Ring easy install if you have all the right parts.

well i got a 6 inch riser with carben fiber race bar with hooks and so on so i am happy to say my sled looks awsome will get some pics up
