have 2 05 rx1's both doing the same thing.. when you turn the handle bars left or right bars move 2-3 in's before anything else turns must be something easy just don't know where to start or adjust to tighten up steering . any help would be great.

On the inner a-arm bushings he( Ulmer)suggests putting them in from inside, to take up alot of back and forth slop. They have an entire kit, change-um all. My spindals tighten up alot too. way better. Have you ever changed them? pretty easy job. While your at it, You can add grease fittings like the new Apex has, should have been there all along! Good luck!
Also check out OFT's billet steering bushings. I have not used them yet but i have heard good things

Heim joints. I think there are like 4 or five by the time you get to the spindles all have a little slop. Add up each and you can the larger gap you feel.
