Is the camera on the side of your helmet? Your helmet is on the right of the screen, looking at the video, right? It doesn't move! Wierd. Are those Go Pros hard to figure out and play back what you just taped? Pretty cool.

They are not hard to figuer out. Since the LCD sceen has not been released, you need a TV or laptop close buy to see what you just taped. Since they have a wide angle, you wont miss much. My fire hydrent crash was recorded on the GoPro. Along with part of Seth's race and JP's.

Nice play area, really nice with the sun. Looks a lot like my neck of the woods too.
How do you keep your head so steady?

^^^ I know. I asked that too. Never up or down from stand, squat, or sitting either. It's like it's bolted to a 2x4. Cool. Perma moto!

Thanks
its from years of dirt bike and quad riding you learn to let the machine do the work all you are doing is making corrections when needed.

My friend is an A rider, well was, and a Semi Pro Sno X-er He tells me the same thing. Let the bike/sled take it, not you. Let it do the work, save energy.
Also helps that GoPro has a very good stability compensator in it.Even mounted on the machine its really good. Not taking any of your riding ability away Soul its obvious you are good out there

Great video. Still green here with rain and high temps. Lucky if I get out by January.
I have a question and maybe someone here can answer it. What is with the constant pumping of the throttle when at low speed? I see a lot of the youger riders around here doing it on just about everything they ride. Do you just like to hear the exhaust or is there some unknown benefit to it. I can't see how constantly pumping fuel into an engine like that does it any good.....not flaming just curious......old guy needs to know.

phazernut, wonder the same thing here. i've seen race sleds do this after a race, but this could be for purpose, not sure. for racers, maybe they have a lean condition at low rpms cause there jetted for WOT?
for the regular joes, could just be throttle jocky's showing off their "hotrod" sled for attention.
curious though if it actually does something.

I was told by a very wise dude many years ago to never do it as it could cause engine damage from the constant heat and cold changes to the engine. I know in the aviation world we never jockey the throttle on a piston engine. Just slow advace to the setting we need.

in the old sleds it could wash the oil off the cylinder leading to scoring with a 4 stroke with fuel injection that isnt a concern. i do it to keep the engine from bogging and breaking to hard. It works so i do it. im sorry it brings gastrointestinal distress to you spike lol
