Heres my problem since last year I've had a running quality condition with or without my PC3/Ing Module hooked up. Lose of power/cuts out at steady throttle position I've checked the ground blocks all look fine put the dielectrical grease to most connections. Well on the trail today started acting up again. Unhooked PC3 and figured its got to be something with that and boom throws these codes limped it back to trailer kinda really getting pissed off with this machine my second Apex while the first was awesome this one is a problem child along with the usual yamaha issues you have to deal with. Really starting to think maybe all the crap I give my fellow riders maybe I should look in the mirror several have F7s with no problems ride as hard and have done nothing to there sleds but add performance features that work awesome. My wife has a REV she hated her Vector GT and that thing has been comp[letely flawless no issues and rides with me so what to do.... I have the YES warranty will it cover these issues? I'm hoping so and hope I can get it fixed by Thursday suppose to go on a trip but don't need to be left out in the woods either. Please help with my frustration... Thanks Mark :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o|

Check your drive shaft bearing by the speed sensor. Those 2 codes pop up if you have a bad bearing and/or speed sensor.

Well I'm hoping I have it fixed this time around. Tore it down to the battery. First the Code 42 and 84 were fixed by just unplugging the speed sensor and plugging back in. It didn't seem seated right and this was the problem just didn't seat it in all the way but when your out on the trail and its cold I was bound to miss something. So I started the machine and on the stand it would run cut out run and the issue that has been plagueing me since last year. So while running I started shaking the connections and the main one that sits on the frame by the clutch set off the issue I've been having. So I dug into the harness and noticed the wiring harness sits on top of the head and the tape was real warm and semi melted. Cut the old wire tape off and noticed few of the wires were chaffed so I'm guessing it was grounding out on the head so I taped each individual chaffed wire then taped the harness back up. I also cut a thick piece of fuel line I had left over from my Harley to strap around the harness where it was rubbing the motor and strapped it around the harness to further protect the harness. In my opinion this was a piss poor routing of the harness to have it as close or touching the motor. I'm hoping this solves my ongoing problem and will report back hopefully with success. For those who have had some of these same issues hopefully my headaches will help others and fix there woes. again I will report back after my trip and hopefully its solved I tested on the stand and pushed on the harness and tugged and no issues so wish me luck.
