I have an 08 blue RTX Nytro, and was going to polish it up. What is your recommendation for the blue plastic. Looking to make it shine nice and help protect it. I have been using a orbital and Motheres aluminum polish on the tunnel, and that works pretty good. Also trying to keep the wax or polish from accumlating white around the decals. The old tooth brush tick can be a lot of wotk. SO what brands or things have people tried?

wax
on the polishing of tunnel sometimes it easier to wet sand with 1000 grit
then do with 2000, then polish. on the wax just don't get real close to decals.

Looking at the tunnel, it looks like it would be a total PITA because of the built in support. There are so many little gaps in there. I don't think I am even going to look at polishing it, but some people say the spray on Alumabrite (Sp?) stuff works pretty good.

Believe it or not, I just use Pedge Furniture Polish on the plastic. It works great! No flim.

I tried the Turtle Wax Liquid Ice stuff, and really like that. It won't leave the white residue on those rough textured black plastic parts, and it leaves a pretty good shine!
Quik detailer but don't use it on the seat.

This is what I tried, and am very happy with the results, quick spray on and wipe off, don't have to worry about black plastic parts or decals.

I was using some wax on my sled and it left that white residue on my Black panels.nate007 said:I tried the Turtle Wax Liquid Ice stuff, and really like that. It won't leave the white residue on those rough textured black plastic parts, and it leaves a pretty good shine!

I've been using Pledge for years now. It works great and you can use it on everything, hood, side panels, seat, windshield.
I started using it on my Grizzly because it hides scratches in the plastics. Tried it on the black side panels on the sled and it worked better tha anything else I had tried. My buddies even use it now after seeing how it works on my stuff.

Turtle Wax Liquid Ice - its not really a wax as you know it, its a polymer.
I have used it and it works great!

I really like the liquid, I used it on the mud flap and all other plastic surfaces. Looks like Armor All was used when done.

Use Black Magic Tire Foam on all plastic, and metal parts, just grab a can, hose the whole sled down. (aside from the seat and grips) let it sit for 5-10 min, and simply wipe clean to a beautiful, rich, deep shine. for the seat, I use Tuff Stuff, this gives it that showroom clean look, with out the slippery finish
