polish

i use 303 product on plastic and the seat, but if pledge works it will be
a lot cheaper, 303 is 50 dollars a gallon.

I agree with you Another Phase. Pedge just has so many uses. No more cabinet full of cleaning and waxing stuff. My sled is just the beginning. When I'm done with my Pedge in the garage, I go inside to Pedge my log cabin.

Pledge is used by many people and shops. We used here at the store until we recieved a service bullitin from Honda and Toro.
It states using Pledge on the plastic hoods and mower decks can and has harmed the finish on some of their customers units.
We have since stopped using pledge and use Honda Polish. If I am not mistaken Yamaha has a similar product.

On my sleds I use Meguires products. Been using them for years with great results. Meguires has a tire and plastic shine that you appply to a rag and wipe on. Lasts WAY longer than the spray on stuff. I do not remember the name but it is a PURPLE fluid. And it smells like grape coolaid :)

For the bare alum. areas, wetsand and some more wetsanding, then to the buffing wheel :) sure its lots and lots of work but well worth it in my mind. When done riding just wipe the snow and ice/snirt off and it will be sparkling clean for ya.

nyattak, you are a funny f#%k! When you do your "pedging" are you with someone or by yourself? :jump:

Okay you got me Woodydog, I lied. Katgirl is the one pedging the cabin. I pedge the toys.
:hide:

One last word of advice. I tried to pedge my toy once....girlfriend caught me and said "If I ever pedge my toy again, she'll never ever pedge it for me ever again!" So obviously don't pedge your toy yourself!

I used to use Pledge and it worked great. I now use Nu-Finish and love the stuff.
