Poll: What top speed do you think an RX1 should be capable?

On a hard road I hit 119 on the dreammeter. Bone stock except 96 studs. The sled wasn't close to being topped out, ran out of road. I think it would top out at 125 to 130 on dreammeter.

should get 125 last year i ran 119.2 on radar seen 140 on the dream meter on paper its capable of 119.5 with stk gearing at 10500 rpm

I think it should be 120.

what gives? The best I've seen my RX-1 at is 113 (185 km/hr). My warrior's best is 109 (178 km/hr). Someone said the speedo's are off by 10%. I'm sure on a perfect surface the speed would be several clicks higher.

I think that there is a 10mph variation in top speed between sleds so lets call it 102mph tp 112 mph actual with the speedo 10% higher. NOW if we were actally getting the full 145 hp I think you could add another 10 mph to the top ends :shock: :shock:

Have the ecp kit but have not put it on yet. Maybe tommrow just been to busy riding.

On stalker radar last year, 1"-2" snow on lake, hit 114-115 on the gun,
131 on speedo. Hit 139 on speedo on longer lake run, no chance in similar
conditions this year with filter kit. Running heel clickers last year and this year. Would like to see 118-120.

On a long run on lake with just a little snow I have seen 137 on speedo with a 2003 shorty.

109 on radar on a warrior just after break in. This was with heavy hitters in about a half mile, bare ice.

OK Guys----- what is wrong with my Warrior? It goes like hell to 105 on the speed-o and just stops there. Tach says 9800 RPM, it does not matter what kind of snow I am in (if it is deep , it may take a little longer to get there). Sled has 162 studs, the green carb springs and 500 miles on the oddometer, everything else iis like it came from the factory.

On hard pack snow in 2000' or more a stock RX-1 with or without HH will not achieve any more than 115 on the dream meter,Get in on glare ice and high 120's or low 130's are possible !!

I've asked lots of people with RX-1's this same question and I'm always comparing my buds RX-1 and they are always much the same !!

I just returned from the land of 3-5 mile stretches in the county and I know how much is needed to top out these sleds, on hard pack it happens under 1/2 mile.

127 on a 1/2 mile stretch of ice on Eagle Lake, I would like to find a 2 mile section of ice so that I could let her fully unwind !!
