Shouldn't he mark the primary with a marker and go from there? IDK?

I gained approx 5mph after getting the weight off the ski’s.
17 LTX LE all stock except cat rollers, shimmed helix, Pilot 6.9 Ski’s, front springs backed off, Center shock spring cranked down, limiters out all the way, transfer blocks removed.
Would see 117-118 on gps 119-120 on Gauge in good hardpack conditions. This was after having over 1800mi on the sled.

Have you had a close look at your primary spring? Mine broke last yr with similar Miles and was acting the same. Was other guys with same issues with 17's You should be seeing 115 mph +clutches are warm, but not hot. I can hold them for sure.
I dont see any marking on the springs. I would say a bit less than a 1/2 mile... but the sled was not accelerating anymore at that point. Was on the lake yesterday and held wide open for 30 seconds or so... 167 km/h... very rough and snow, but it wasnt going any higher.

I have 2017 STX-DX with 3600 miles 1.6 cobra track 192 gold diggers and mine does the same. Runs strong until about a 100 MPH then it hits a wall at 105-107 or so with groomed trail conditions. Haven’t tried on lake ice yet. I have been told that is normal.

Groomed and hard pack. Always see at least 100MPH in most groomed conditions 2-4 inches loose snow. Haven’t seen more than 106-107.That & he did it on snow. What kind of snow?

Really, 2-4" of powder? No body Ive ever heard of does speed runs on that. Lol. Nice flat hard pack or ice would help your cause. But I wouldn't expect too much.
850 etec renegade with same track goes 95mph. Just to give you an idea.
But I have to ask? Why does a guy buy a 1.6 and care about how fast it can go? Lol....I know.

Mines does the same.. pulls hard to 100mph then has a hard time going past 105-107 as well. However I have the much smaller track and no studs.
