Please take another look at what you wrote. I think you are saying you are getting a popping. But you say you are not in the text. ???
Popping is typically associated with an exhaust leak at the donuts or flex-pipes. Did you replace the donuts and inspect the flex-pipes for cracks? Are the clamps to the donut joints tight?

Yes you are correct I am getting popping....stupid me posting when i am upset....lol. Anyway It is a brand new 0 mile sled so I have not checked any part of the exhaust for a leak. The muffler was welded on so I do not think there is a leak there. I did not have the problem before putting on the exhaust, only riding was around the yard though. The muffler that was put on is a hindle off of an r1.

Just talked to a friend watching me pull out the sled and he said that it shot out a couple of fire balls also....????

does it do it constantly or just when you let off throttle? like a little backfire. probably running rich & the raw fuel is what is causing it. run the sled a while & let the stock fuel mapping/machine adjust to it. maybe do some airbox mods to help the induction.
my sled has a little pop once in a while only when i'm riding hard & let off quick. only does it 1-2 times.
just check your connections where the pipe went on. start it & feel around the welds to see if they leak.

Re-jetting is not an option on a fuelie. However, maybe you can adjust the fuel using the control the gage and ECU offer.
You may want to read This. Click Here.
Hopefully, it is just a little fat and you will not have to mess with the timing.

Thanks for the replys. The popping is pretty constant not just under certian conditions. Will the "attack" fuel adjust procedure work for a nytro? Also to Turk, when you say a fuel controller do you mean a RB3 or Power Commander? Sorry for the ignorance, first 4 stroke.....a little different beast compared to the 2 strokes.

All you need is any device that will plug into your wiring harness & control fuel flow. Dobeck makes a decent one which I use on my Nytro. Just get the cheapest one you can find. I got my Hauck(dobek) for under $300. You just need one that adds fuel & not reomove any.
