Possible Switch??

I currently ride a 09 Nytro RTX. Thinkn about an Apex next season, love my Nytro but after 10yrs of riding it it is time for a change, also arthritic elbows, “power steering”.
Question I have is riding position,an can I stand an ride like I can on my Nytro!!
I know all about the motor, had an RX1 before Nytro.

Not like the Nytro....no. you can stand but you'll be hunched over a bit unless you get a riser. Even then you won't be "standing" as far forward as you can on a Nytro.

Nope! I have WRP seats and risers on my Apex and my Nytro. +2" on both seats and +5" riser on the Apex and a +3" riser with OFT relocate on the Nytro. I'm 6'3" and can pop up and stand on the Nytro with almost zero effort . Stand for LOONG periods of time, and I'm 60 yrs young! Apex, not anywhere as easy to stand or stay standing. But with an M20 Airwave and Fasts Assault front shocks, I don't really need to lol!

That's good honest advice. Plan for extra seat height, risor, mtx length throttle cable and brake line. It will get you the ability to stand and ride comfortably but I still let out a little grunt when I go to stand LOL 42 yrs old, 6'1", 210lbs

Dont stand alot, just when it gets lil rough gotta get up for a bit or to stretch legs.
Wife has Mountain riser on her sled, guess I gotta try hers an see what happens.

I have a riser and a Boss flat top seat on my Attak and with this combination standing is relatively effortless but your feet will never be as far forward as a Nytro.

+4 riser and seat concepts (wrp) +2" seat on the 16. the riser is the perfect height for me to stand while riding and i added the seat so that i was not reaching up to the bars while riding. until i put the 2018 update shock in the 16, the only way to ride it was standing. i can ride it sitting or standing comfortably.
