Powder Blue have you change your jetting for mountain riding, what jets are you using above 8000 ft and what carb spring is working the best for you .

You just had to ask didn't you? Honestly I still have no clue on the best jetting. I ran 156.3 jets in McCall the first trip and 162.5 jets the second trip. The first trip I think the sled ran better.
Carb springs? The Yellow Holtzman springs seemed to work MUCH better than the Silver. There aren't any noticable "shelves" in the powerband with the Yellow springs like I felt with the Silver springs. Again, I have no idea why.

I'd use 155 for over 10,000 feet
I'd probably use the 156.3 at 8,000 up to 10,000 feet
I'd use 157.5 for 6-8,000 feet.
160 from 4-6,000 feet
162.5 for 2-4,000 feet
165 from sea level to 2,000 feet.

Remember this is a WAG but at least somebody took a stab at it!

Good luck. PB
