SledFreak said:So when you do this "CLICK RESET, quickly snap and release the throttle, and CLICK OK. DONE." Is that reseting the closed and open as well?

Iceman, that is your choice. My post should clearly explain why it is important to calibrate it running.

So basically we should ignore what the Manufacturer is telling us. I just can’t understand why they would put in writing a procedure that isn’t true.

No where in their instructions does it say it is OK to have 95% TPS. Their instructions are 'generalized' for the public.
Iceman, this was a big arguement on another website. I don't wish to argue. You calibrate yours as you wish. My advice is from experience on my 2005 ZX6R, 2007 ZX14, and my APEX.

Again, from a tutorial on their web site.

Probably so some tool doesn't drive their sled through their garage door because he misunderstood blip lol.
If 95% is good enough for you then leave it just know that it is more accurate with the sled running...just don't drive it through your garage door.

since Dynojet is relatively new to these machines...I believe this to be an issue that makes sense...difficult for me to wrap my mind around why the sensor would read two different numbers running or not...it's a low voltage sensor....not affected by whether the motor was running or not right? and whats to say that split second blip really "snapshots" the peak WOT and not slightly less?

Anyone install the LCD display? I got mine and it has 2 pig tails on it and the USB hookup. Where do the 2 pig tails hook into. One into the Powercomander and the other connects to the existing plug that was removed from the PCIII? I have No instructions? I have PM'd Allen where I bought it from, but he has not repsoonded it being Saturday and all. Any help.

SF, you just hook it up to one of the free plugs from the PC.
edit...I was just thinking....I have the hub too...so maybe I have an extra main plug hanging.
The LCD harness has a male and female plug....just plug it in, in between the PC and the timing module.

Edit******
Unplug the ignition module, plug the male LCD connector into the PCIII then plug the ingition module into the other female plug on the harness to the LCD then plug the USB harness into the LCD .

Leave your Ignition Module plugged directly into the Power Commander. There should be a white female plug-in off of the Ignition Module. Plug the male plug-in from the LCD cable into there and then you will be left with one open female plug-in that is what you use to power up your PCIII if you have a laptop connected.

I calibrate it with the sled off to read 0 at closed and 100 at wide open.
