I bought a medium powermadd windshield from Spankys, thinking it would be shaped like my old yamaha medium, which I liked. I start to put it on, and see that the sides slant down in front of the grips, unlike the Yamaha shield that protects the grips somewhat. Then I realize that my windshield mounted cat mirror will give me a good view of my hand. I'm going to return it, and get one from a dealer. Besides the poor design, it has some stupid looking shooting stars on it. You would think an after market shield would protect better than stock.

My Cobra Tall does...MUCH better than stock. Did you actually try it, or just look at it and decide it wouldn't work for you? Or maybe the shooting stars were the problem?

Cobra Tall works excellent. No stupid graphics on it either.

I bought the Cobra Tall and it works excellent. Rode in -30 degree weather in Quebec last Friday and it saved by butt! Not only is it shaped a bit differently that the medium Yamaha windshield, it is also tilted more forward and upright. It sent the wind right over my head!! Love it.
