Here are pics of my precision clamps I installed on my 2012 raptor700.I used the stock bars from my brothers YFZ450 which were lower but with the clamps/plate(3/4 inch rise) it came out the same as stock.Install was pretty easy and I made a plate for the key out of 1/4 plastic plate which I bolted to the adapter plate.Only had a little ride so far but they seem to work well.Give more feedback and a side by side test with my brothers flexbars as soon as the weather permits...........

do you have a steering stabilizer? If not that should have come before this.
Don,t ride in many rocky areas, just beach, trails and sand pits. This is to keep the shock out of my wrist when I jump and land hard. There on the softest setting now(no shims installed in caps, just the poly block). They now move about a half-inch either side if you push down on them.Heres a link to some videos that show them in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ3nMlDD ... r_embedded

Oh well that would make sense. Ive tried em before on a polaris 500 but since i rarely ride sport quads I couldnt tell if they are working or not. Do you guys have a youtube account? Always like to see riding vids!

Future plan, got some great sled videos this winter with the GO-PRO so it should work well this quad season ;)! .By the way these clamps also work on dirtbikes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18o7g6V_joY

My stock protaper evos have more than enough flex for me. Besides. i just spent $300 on the gytr/fmf exhaust which I highly recommend. I plan on giving my gopro a good using now in a bit aswell.

Thinking about doing these on my 2012 YFZ 450, do you like them? I want to raise my bat height a lil as well. Are they worth the price?

They give about 3/4 of an inch of rise then another 1/4 inch with the adapter plate.I didn,t want any rise so I install the stock bars from 7skulls YFZ and got the same handlebar rise as stock(YFZ has same bend as raptor with a inch lower bar). The adapter plate moves the bars ahead 1/2inch so this makes your steering a little quicker. In my own opinion I prefer these over the flex bars. There about 100 bucks cheaper, smaller package to ship, and you get to keep your bars.Glad I went this way over the flexbars.Side to side hits the flexbar has a slight advantage when absorbing shock, but on flat landings I find the precision clamps work better(bar stays flat/absords shock at the same time)There very well made(had to wait for them to be built in there facility in California).Sand dunes later will be the real test, more to come :-o .
