I was having trouble with clips staying on my Ripsaw that had about 6400 miles. The track ended up being pretty worn with some of the rods starting to show through.
I had my dealer install a 1.25" Predator track. So far I love the track. Hook up is great and it seems much stiffer then the Ripsaw. The clips are all still on after about 300 miles. I also got some bigger bolts and nuts and mounted the slide rail caps nice and tight to the rails (thanks Kevin for the advice). So hopefully I will now longer have clip issues.
I did notice my hyfax wear is not normal. (Stock rear suspension settings) The front bend is good with little to no wear. Although the section between the rear axle and the first set of wheels is bad. It is at the wear line after 300 miles on new hyfax. Does someone make a wheel kit to go there that will last unlike the marginal snow kit wheels that seem to only last 200 miles of high speed running?
