I was looking at clutch pullers on ebay. They list a puller for the 06 to 09 Nytro's. What changed after 09 with clutches and or cranks to need a diffrent puller? I have an 08 RTX so this puller should be fine. I was just wondering if there is any changes?

Be careful with some of the pullers on e-Bay. Some are crap, I broke one as well as a buddy of mine. Spend the $40.00 for a good one that will not break and save yourself a lot of headaches. We broke the end piece inside the clutch and went through hell to get it out!

Just curious, were you drawing it down with a hand wrench when it broke or did you hit it with an impact?

- '21 SRX, '14 Viper RTX, '06 Apex, '99 SX 600, '74 TL433F,
The clutch puller I have for my old '99 SX 600 looks identical to the Nytro clutch puller OSP advertises on ebay. Will my old one work on my '08 Nytro.
Also, I always pump grease into the cavity the puller fits into to create hydraulic pressure along with the mechnical force the puller creates. It take A LOT less torque on the puller to get the clutch off using grease (water works to if you tip your sled on its side) then just the puller itself.
