looking for some insight here. I’ve rebuilt a few skidoo rev primary’s and secondary clutches before, but never a nytro clutch. Are they the same method for separating the two sheaves on these clutches or do you need pullers and stuff? Just want to inspect and clean them. Thanks.
the spider on the primary is threaded on, but otherwise just unbolt helix on secondary for it to come right apart and the cover on the primary unbolts to get at all the weight and roller bushings for maintenece. i usually scotch brite and brake clean the belt surfaces and blow all the belt dust out during my pre season.
Be sure to mark each main piece of the clutches before disassembly to insure they maintain alignment and balance. Skidoo balances each part individually, but others balance as an assembled unit.
