primary clutch torqueing

ok guys...i cant get my initial torque # for getting my primary on the engine taper...im only holden by hands..while my buddy is trying to get 85ftlbs...

how is everyone doin this WITHOUT HURTING CLUTCH MOST INPORTANT...

any help would be great...

If your plastic shroud isnt on underneath it, you can place a small bar/pipe from a ridge on the clutch to the floor/blocks.. May be able to use a heavy strap wrench otherwise?

use the shaft of a hockey stick through the primary, a piece about 2 feet long. its a canadian thing eh.

I use the handle from a hammer through the primary, works great!

YEP!! Thats what i use also, a hammer, if its being stubborn when trying to take it off, i give the puller a little wack and it usually pops off.
