2016 srviper mtx 153 mpi turbo
Sr viper mpi turbo 180 kit. I absolutely can not get my engagment rpm higher then 2800! Just put in Hauck Orange Primary 55, 2.75, 135. This doesn't make sense at all. Only gained 100 rmp from stock green green green spring. Keep in mind that mid and top are close to perfect. Help?

Mine is set to around 2700 rpm and that is how I like it. If your sled will spin the track at 2700 rpm take off I am curious why you want it higher?

I agree with Stingray, I'm always trying to bring engagement down why do you want to raise it.

I just like the feeling of a bit higher engagment, my nytro was set like this but cant seem to get this one where i want it.. First time having a turbo and playing with clutching so it gets a bit frustrating when you cant think of anything else.! Lol still pulls like crazy tho!

Clutch kit supplied by yamaha, they did the installation. I tried a few primary springs and took some weight of the heel. Thats where im at now

Take a pic. Yamaha does not supply a kit. They do recommend Ulmer though. Are there rivets or washers held with small screws?

I cant read the chart. If it is Ulmer just call him and tell him what you want. A different profile will do what you need. Like said most dont want the higher engagement but if you are drag racing and hooked up well or Hard core HillClimber with big track I would also.

I have an XTX with MPI turbo and Ulmers Clutch kit. It engages at around 3800 rpm. I have seen 9150 without spin. Kit works great as far as I am concerned. I am going to try the BOP spring for lower engagement as its a bit jerky when going slow.

Yamaha dealer supplied yamaha parts for clutch....weights rivets rollers and helix with my mpi kit
