Pro-Action skid removal and re-install

A case of beer for the friend you will need. I use a lot of wd-40 to make the track slippery to get the skid back in. Use a strap to collapse the skid. When I do it alone (most times), I unhook the rear shock. Just remember, that if you can take it out, it has to fit back in. Move in the rear wheels. Good Luck.
 
Unbolt the control rods and make sure the track is loose. Takes some finess, but gets easier each time
 
I always unhooked the springs to let the suspension collapse. Wound the adjusters all the way forward and used a bike lift to raise the front in the air a foot or so then lifted the rear about the same with my sled jack. Little wiggling and out it comes. I used a floor jack that I use to lift my car under the track to lift skid back up into place.
