--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just bought a complet moter and put it together and timed it right but # 1 clinder and# 3 clinder has 180 and 2 and 4 has 120 what can I be doing wrong

What would happen if the cam's were installed inversely? is it even possible?

i cannot imagine that the cams could be installed backwards, but i am not the guy to ask.

Its an issue with either the piston/rings/block or valves. Add abit of oil, see if the compression comes up. Not possiable to install cam wrong, intake cam has 3 lobes per hole, exhaust has 2 lobes per hole.

not the pistons

i now have 189 and up on three cylinders and 135 on one I did a leak down test on that one cylinder and no leaks and my timing is dead nuts so what shuld i do . but it seams like the compresion is getting better every time I do it so I MIT put the sled together and
run it what do u guys think

just might be a sticky rings. i would run it and check the compression after a few 100 miles and make it pull hard/get hot.
