I picked up the auxillary fan for my Phazer. I cannot get it to fit properly. If I install the top bolt, the bottom bracket does not align up and the fan is touching the radiator and the mounting bracket is still 1/2" from the mounting hole (see pictures) . I called the dealer to confirm its the right part number and talked to the service guy who has never seen this before.
Before I take the sled to the dealer Monday, does anyone have any tips for making it fit?
Any pictures of your installed fan?

I bought it used in Dec but it doesn't look like the rad is damaged at all. It was $150 CDN.
The dealer offered to install it free so I will drop if off Monday. Luckily they are only 5 minutes from my office.

i ran into the same thing. but my fan wasn't for the phazer, it was off a yami rocket bike. i ended up just using 2 mounting brackets that lined up. no ill effects.
i can't remember either if i had to put in some washers to shim it away from the radiator a little. i think i did though.
i'd get some pics for ya but my sled is 4 hours away. i felt the same way hoping just to put in on & plug it in.

I was going to try to install it again today but the dealer said they would install it for free. I'll let them do it.

Well it took the technician 5 minutes to install the fan. Everything fit perfectly - WTF! I screwed around with it for an hour - and it only fits on way so how could I have been so off?
Oh well its installed! They also noted my shocks were install upside down (at the factory 'cause I never changed them) so they re-installed them. No cost for any of the work.

Yes I phoned the dealer to make sure I had it the right way when trying to install it - even emailed them pictures. Because of the mounting tabs it only installs one way. I popped the cover off to look at it and sure enough it fit perfectly. I feel really stupid.
For those in Manitoba, Wildwood Sports was been great to deal with.
