Proline Kit Update

I don't recall the lengths, but Mike Knapp (KnappAttack who first reported about the Pro-line kits) gave a detailed report with findings like that. He had several sleds to compare the kits with too.

Reaper, I've got about 1350 miles on it right now.

Interesting, I am heads up with stock GT with that setting. Trying 9-2 rap and 2.4g in the tip to see if we can beat a stocker. MPG drops with Proline kit or any kit that makes you rev more. I would say it dropped 20%.

Beat a stock apex in 1/4 mile by 10 lengths

You mean 2 sled lengths. Right?

Were you there? ...If not, how could you question the integrity of a fellow apex rider providing honest info for people who may want to hear various opinions on the Proline Clutch Kit. I don't feel that I should have to provide Video coverage for those that think they know all. For others who would like to hear, I may continue to post "real world results" as I play/fine tune this clutch kit.

I guess you don't have to buy it then.

Does anyone know why apexer1 is on the "attack" here when we are just trying to share information? I was in no way bragging...just wanted to let some people know that the Kit is for real!

Use a center punch in the middle of the rivet and hammer it hard,as per John.

The 2.4g steel one is the same, you have to hammer it hard with a center punch to flare it. Looks like it will still fall out but it seems to be in there well.

Man, one of the reasons I consider clutch kits is the bolt and washer type weight adjustability. I hate to pound in and drill out rivots. Huge disappointment for me :o|

That's the beauty of the Heelclickers now..billet steel and you screw in the different weights and washers..no more hammering rivets!!!
