The red XTX that was on display at the Big East show in Syracuse NY was probably what I would call a pilot build sled to quote the automotive industry. It had all of the updates that we have been hearing about and seeing pics of all through the summer and I noticed that the production date on the secondary clutch was May 2013 so it was definitely built after the protos from last spring. All pieces and parts seemed to be assembled and painted as production including the new tunnel protectors and rivets attaching them. I don't think anyone including the traveling Yamaha display has seen any production machines yet. I hope something comes out this week!

They are being built on a shared line, they built the protos and demo sleds and several for testing in between other runs. When they were ready to Build the actual finished product they wanted the testing and final design changes done before any for sale units were built. Remember Arctic Cat builds several other things in this facility in Thief River Falls including thier version of this sled line.

Yes the red one at big east show was the final build and revisions before production models were built, there could be some minor changes still but that's closest to production that anyone has seen
