- I'm getting ready to pull the skid on my 08 40th LTX GT and want to ensure I do it right.
- Any think I need to be aware of before I dig in?
- I want to get the skid out, get the shock revalved.
- All help is greatly appreciated!

- It's the shock that's bothering me about all this.
- I know to remove the wire, but should I have the shock at the minimum or maximum setting before doing it?

- I hope to get at the skid next week. I've spoke to Dean at Peak, and he said anytime is good.
- I wanna get it done soon. Still undecided about the powder coat???

i have pulled 4 diffrent skins with the ohlins ec two of them being mine and never had a problem with it the cpu always remembered where it was set when i pluged it back in.maybe there is a precaution i dont know about. my experiance has been that it didnt matter at all where it was set look in the service manual if you need to be certian.

On the ohlins shock you can disconnect the wire and not worry about your setting! As thor mentioned the computer will show your exact setting after you get it hooked back up. On the standard mono shock you have a manual adjustment that needs to be timed with the dial and the shock. On the ohlins your fine.
