Question about mounting skis

I am picking up a 2014 viper this weekend and plan to give it a ride or 2 with the stock skis just to see how it handles.

my question is will skis with Yamaha mounts fit this sled?
I realize this is a cat front end (never owned anything cat)

I have a set of 6.9 pilots, a set of simmons flexi skis, and a set of usi triple threats all set up to fit an 06 apex.
I would love to eventually give all 3 sets a try and figure out what works best for me .

any input on what it takes to mount skis with Yamaha mounts on this cat front end is greatly appreciated

I can answer for the pilots as I tried them. The stock rubber will need to be cut down to fit in the saddle. I had to take some off the back and trim the knobs off the bottom of the rubber as well because the rubber was a bit tall. If I remember you will have to turn one (or both) of the washers around as well to give yourself enough room. I tried pilots and curves but settled back in with the stockers w/ 6" slim jims. You probably wont like the stock ski's with the 4" single carbide. But-with slim jims the stockers work well.
