Doe's anybody know if the apex side exhaust covers and tips will fit an rx1. Also would someone have the part # for the longer throttle cable. I ordered one off of a mountain sled and it was exactly the same as my original.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but it may fit. The exhaust tubing is a little different cut on the Apex compared to the RX-1 but this would not cause problem. There could be a problem with mounting the Apex exhaust tips to the RX-1 exhaust outlets tho. Apex uses 2 screws where the RX-1 uses 3 screws to mount the exhaust tips.
Same happened to me, ordered the Yamaha RX-1 Mountain throttle cable, it was the same as stock RX-1 grrrr. I did contact Allen Ulmer at www.ulmerracing.com, he got a cable from MPI that is 4" longer than the Yamaha rx-1 mountain throttle cable. You may go to www.mountainperformance.com directly.

Make sure you guys get the RX-1 mountain 2005 mod. throttle cable. It's aprox. 2" longer than 2003-2004 throttle cable.

YAMMERHAULER - Have you put on a bar riser and/or pivot for your handle bars, if so what height.
I have a Powermadd 1,5" pivot riser and a 4" riser block. The MPI throttle cable, which is 4" longer than the Yamaha Mountain throttle cable, is needed not an inch too long IMO, on my sled that is.

I used a set of 06 handlebars (which are not as tall as the stock bars) with a 4" powermadd risor. This combo is only about 2" taller than stock, however it doe's pull tight on the cables. This setup with the apex seat is like a completely different machine.

I have the '07 handlebars too. My combo would be 1.5" taller than yours, my throttle cable is just about the length is has to be. The 2005 Yamaha RX-1 Mountain throttle cable will possibly be long enough in your application.
I have the '06 Nytro seat which is firmer than the Apex seat, and yes it became a completely different machine to ride when it comes to rider ergos, driveability, all in all my sled became much more fun to ride. I would like to move the steering post 2"-3" forward to get it more rider forward tho, more like the 2006-2007 sleds, that would make even better.

Hauler they fit, and make it way easy to add the led tail light. I have them on mine. I have a spare tail light if you need it. I also have the plastic but I trimmed it to try and make it work with the rx-1 sides. I used my stock tips they work ok. Maxdlx

Thanks maxdlx. I already have the led light and the back plastic. So if my old caps will work, then I just need to find the side plastic pieces.

Only 2 bolts will fit in but they fit. If you want the perfect look, you will need the end caps.
