Question: Having problems with timing.

i am putting my motor back together and im doing the timing chain at this moment while i got her back together and now i have no compression and cylinder #1 and i had compression before, if its not timed right the valves are being timed right? and is that the reason why i would have no compression? any suggestion or idea out would much apreciate the help thanks.

I may not be of much help but try to find a service manual, you get them for less then $5 (it's electronic though.) have you found TDC (top dead center)? Good luck there's many good people on here!
