Folks, i picked up the Kimpex Speedster track that my last post spoke of. The picks in it now extend about a inch above the track lugs. I realize that i need to add extra tunnel protection, but should i be concerned about the picks 'folding over' rather then biting and going? I am more concerned about roll on races rather then hooking from a dead dig..

Shouldn't be a problem, my chisel track has the lugs pretty much shaved right off it with 1.075 chisels and it works great. The key to traction on the ice is penetration, its not mow many studs, its how deep they're digging.
