I'm going to replace the 4 front idlers on my GT. I have a couple of questions:
1. How easy is it to replace the 2 inner ones without removing the skid from the machine?
2. I was going to buy the Excell wheels but the 2 inner wheels have holes/spokes which came in handy when I was removing the shock to re-grease. The bolt had to go through the hole to come out/go in. Is this going to be a problem with the Excell wheels?
Any other tips on replacing them?
Thank.

I think pulling the skid would be a lot easier because you need to get the spring tension off to remove the wheels. It only takes a few minutes to remove the skid.
Sorry I don't know much about the Excell wheels. I did replace my outer ones with the newer style with the replaceable bearing. They are actually cheaper that the original ones.

I just replaced the front four wheels with Excell wheels added some Yamaha low snow wheels as well. I don't know how you can replace the inner front wheels without removing the skid. Even with the skid out it was a pain in the
to remove and replace the front inner wheels.

I agree.Remove skid and clean and grease everything while at it.Yes once solid wheels are on you will need to remove everything to get shock bolt out.
