Access to the chaincase adjuster is the only reason I would do it personally. Love the way it sounds stock and the weight savings is negligible IMO. I can't tell the difference between a Sled full of gas vs nearly empty, not going to spend $400 just to loose 10#. Would make more sense for me to stop eating cheeseburgers. As far as the supposed HP gain that creates more of a temptation to do it then weight savings.

X2 Might as well leave the stock can in. At least it won't rust! Kind of a let down d&dDeerHuntr said:jlemieu1 said:D&D is ready now. 2lbs saving but you can't access chain adjuster.

Just put their quiet can on mine today and word is they will be shipping them out very soon. The sound at idle is a little louder than stock. Cruising on the trail at 6-7000 rpm you really can tell any difference over stock. At WOT there is more tone to it for sure but I don't foresee it causing any noise complaints. Was riding all day if fresh powder. Did 50 miles with stock exhaust then switched to quiet can and did 25 miles. The can certainly makes more power because with stock exhaust in deep snow it would only turn 8600. Quiet can would run right up to 8900 and sit right there. Much faster in the snow too. I the trail I was hitting rev limiter a quite a bit so it's certainly making more power. Clutched properly it will be a very nice setup. You can access the chain adjuster bolt as well with it on. It's not as easy to get to as with the other types of loud exhausts but it won't be any issue to adjust the bolt without removing the can. It has the same kind of sound as stock does just slightly louder

info on the stock muffler mod please
We take your stock muffler and cut it completely open and modify the internal passages. The modification is stock sound level and adds 3 horsepower and is $299.
