I have an 07 phazer fx and my link finaly broke, so my ? is has anybody bought and used the yammi race kit for the rear suspension? Im going to replace it, but figured while im in there I might just as well replace it all, as I do ride hard and notice it bottoming on the big bumps. Is this kist worth the $$ my dealr said he wouldlet me get it for $600 instead of the $685 list. so is this kit worth the $ or should I go with the hygear kit? or just go cheap and re-weld it enforce it my self??

one more ? that i should have asked b4, does the kit come the billet link? and everything is there to replace the one i broke correct?

Looks legit. If you close the tunnel the seat braces due nothing. the rear springs are to stiff with good shock valving. All you really need off the kit is the rail braces and tunnel protectors. If you are concerned buy my sled at the end of the year its all braced up and reinforced and only driven on Saturdays......

Or better yet brace the front torque arm up

Seth,
Do you have a part # for the billet link for the rear lower shock mount. I have yet to update mine and should get parts coming before it breaks and am out of luck.
Thanks

I'll give Brother's a call, I am sure they know. Thanks though! Are you gonna make Ada this weekend, if so I will see you there!

yam 177,your crazy to think you can sell a race phazer lol, youd have a better chance giving it back to yamaha as a test mule so they can see what doesnt work,

and i dont care how well youve maintained it, metal gets tired rivets loosen it helps the fact they rust overnite, lol

dont get me wrong im glad you can afford to race but to think your sled will be good enough to sell to someone thats not going racing is just wrong, keep it as a practice sled and then use it as a parts sled imo. the day you started racing you should of wrote that thing off.
thats why you have sponsors, racing isnt cheap and now you know why.

Now I know what. that racing is expensive hmm been racing snox for 8 years I think I know that by now. YOU THINK I AM NEW TO THIS!!!!

Not like Yamaha Skidoo, Or Cat gives us these sled we still buy them. Yes I know they lose value from racing but fact remains. They are still in very good condition and probably in better shape due to the maintenance performed than your average KID that goes and beats on the poor thing.

Sled get professionally taken apart after every weekend and any broken parts replaced or repaired.

Have you ever raced, you are lucky in you get 50% of from sponsors I may raise 3-500 cash per season if I am lucky.

So yes I will put all the brand new stock shocks back on and sell the fox shocks or sell the sled with the fox shocks depending on the buyer.

Thanks for your input though. Hope for lots of snow and ride hard!!!

I saw Emersons race sleds at Haydays and both were in much better shape than mine is.I wouldnt hesitate to buy a race sled that was taken care of.

does the it come with instructions on how to intsall everything? i know the springs and bar will be straight forward, but what about the 4th wheel kit?
