Is anyone running one of these if so what are your thoughts.
Also I'd like to see some picts of them on sleds. Most of the Picts are of just the bumper it sled and the one in the accessory catalog is just horrible.
It looks cool but I'm wondering of it would hang up snow like the accessory bumper on my nytro did.

I have one. The only issue I would have, sometimes hard to grab. Otherwise x2 work of art.

Here are a few pictures of my setup; if my uploading of the pictures worked...

The bumper is a heavy duty high quality piece of hardware, (not heavy weight at all).

I would highly recommend the chain case and brake rotor guards. [Note, the price is for the pair, its not real clear on the website about that.

Brothers Doug & Josh are good people to deal with as well.

Have you guys been in the deep powder with these bumpers? Does the gap between the bumper and the body of the sled collect a lot of snow? It looks like that space might just get packed with snow.

I was wondering the same thing.
I had a nytro with the Yamaha accessory bumper on it and it used to plug full of snow and freeze in a solid block.

Is the Racewerx bumper a pretty easy install? Just wondering what is all involved with it.

Very, very, cool but the cost, Damn!

The bumper installs pretty easily, pre-reading the instructions and identifying the parts before you start is helpful.

I have not had it pack up and hold snow. There really isn't a source of heat right up front in the nose that would cause the snow to stick around and freeze.

One thing on the Yamaha's the nose sticks out past the handle; I see on the Artic Cat the nose configuration is different and does not come to a point. It has not been a problem but it could be if you were to kiss a tree; if you were to smack the tree it really wouldn't matter anyway...

The SS badges are pretty slick looking. The "Racewerx" name is cut out, so the background color is the color of the name, if you noticed it is in red on mine. I did this by purring a piece of colored electrical tape down before riveting the badge on.

Those Brake/chaincase guards are a work of art but the plastic one works just fine for crushing impacts. The issue with plastic one is it gets ripped right off at the rivets and will bend the little aluminum ledge inside which it is attached to on brake side. At least thats what happened to mine at some point. Never even felt it happen. So. Are these guards wider than the stock ones? Can you post a pic of stocker next to it? If even a little wider than stock it would help. Actually if it went up inside tunnel a bit it would be a very strong design.

I hope so thats what I did get but idea of some actual metal would be comforting.
