After nearly buying an 05 Rage late last year, I spring ordered a pair of 06's for the wife and I. Just to add to the list of changes from 05 to 06 Rage is the addition of a rear heat exchanger.

I dont understand why they did that its just extra wieght and I've never had one problem yet but maybe some people have with there Rages?? I have added water wetter tho...and I do shut my sled off whenever I'm going to sit more than a couple minutes. Has anyone experience overheating with there Rages??RageX2 said:After nearly buying an 05 Rage late last year, I spring ordered a pair of 06's for the wife and I. Did they add fuel shut offs(for trailering) and a temp gauge that seems like a couple well needed items that people would love to have.

No fuel shut off's on my 06 Vector, I did add them however.

I had some issues with overheating when running in slower conditions. Say blast across a lake, then putt putt into a town for a mile or two.

just grab some snow and put it on both running boards that will cool it down alot since heat exchangers are there>> and dont run slow...lolstevenknapp said:I had some issues with overheating when running in slower conditions. Say blast across a lake, then putt putt into a town for a mile or two.

Don't run slow. Ha. Sounds easier than it is. In down it's hard not to.
I added the exchanger just for the safety margin. I can't see it being THAT heavy.

well true in town its not easy who knows maybe someday i might feel the need to add one...but so far water wetter and sometimes throwing snow on my boards when sitting too long and idling works for me..
