Rail Extension Help

Those of you who have put rail extensions on......how the heck did you get the track adjuster brackets off?? They have those pressed aluminum rivets in there.....Do you have to drill them out??

I used a grinder.
Use bolts to reinstall

used a little 4 inch grinder and ground on the outside of the rail. Don't be shy, dig it straight in then push the grinders sideways to cut the rivets off. I found if I slowly ground them off evenly it took forever.

Or use a drill, with a good sharp bit. Same method used for changing clutch rivets.
