Looking at buying a short track and turning it into a 144 with rail tip up extensions. Does anyone make rail tip ups for the viper yet or know of anyone that makes them for cat?

I looked into an xtx viper, but the 1.6 lug is a big big for our trail running and prefer the tip up rails for when running hardpack.

Maybe its not worth converting beings the viper starts as a 129 rather than a 121.

Comments?

Why not just get an LTX with a 137" and 1.25" lugs?

it comes down to coupled or uncoupled the xtx can take a 144 move the skid one hole back in the front and change drivers to cat 10t 2.52 and it works great did it on my 1100t...but that being said I didn't like the uncoupled on the trails so im actually going to buy the ltx se and get a new set of rail from ice age. this setup actually felt lighter then my and my gf nitro xtx tith tipped rails I think you will be surprised at how well it handles and feels with out the tipped rails.
