I have 7 tooth 3.0 pitch antiratchets with about 400 miles on them and they already need to be replaced. I have not been happy with these drivers. I have heard of some drivers with the extro teeth being offset a little to prevent wear. I cant seem to stop the ratcheting. What are the very best drivers out there and what are you guys doing to stop ratcheting with high hp? Do I need to go to 8 tooth to stop it? thanks

Freak I had 8 tooth extroverts in mine and they rachited, I went to 9 tooth and problem solved. running 12lbs. 252 h.p. on dyno.

running 9 tooth 15 lbs no problems 700 miles I will see what happens when I turn up the boost with the bigger turbo, but I don,t think there will be a problem.

I also have 9's with over 1000 miles on them, look good and no ratcheting. But maybe it has to do with the 2.52 pitch drivers.

Holy cow ......Ratcheting with antiratchets is not good!...........I've got 8 tooth antiratchets .......installed beginning of season hasn't ratcheted a bit....... 14 Pds of boost for the last three weeks ;)!

Got mine from M.P.I ....Wahl bros.

There is a problem with the 7 tooth 3"pitch Wahl Bros. drivers, they are too big in diameter,we had to lathe off some material in order to make them work properly,I can't remember the spec, but I have it at the shop.I called wahl Bros. about this and they are now aware of the problem. It's easy to check if want, tip your machine on it's side and look into the track drivers, if the lugs don't touch ALL of the clips at the the radius of the driver ,then it's no good ,this was especialy bad on the 3" pitch drivers. If it touches the first driver only, then you're only driver off of ONE driver lug, this will cause an annoying virbration.

Don't know,I beleive they are fixing the problem, but you'll have to call them and see if they will replace your drivers.

Can I go back to 8 tooth 3.0 pitch if my track is cut to 2" lug height and I have shaved that tall fin in the front of my exchanger?
