i need some 8 tooth 2.52 anti ratchet drivers for my 03 rx1 mtn. i have a new 1.1/4 track i want to put on when i do te drivers. skidoo doesnt make a 2.52 pitch 8 tooth driver and a few other companies do but what would u be losing/ gaining if i put 9 tooth drivers on it.

I'm not sure that they will fit. If they do, you will gain more contact with the track (less apt to ratchet) and higher gearing (a plus for a boosted sled). Your speedo will be off (not that t was all that acurate anyway). As stated earlier, if they don't have clearance, you may have to move the skid back or trim the tips of the rails. Also check the front heat exchanger (should have clearance there).
9 tooth will fit with a 2" track, thats what I have. But its on a mountain sled. And the front mounting for the h-arm is in a different spot than the short tracks. The stock mounting is for the mounting is behind the foot rests, the short tracks mount ahead of the foot rests.
