Anyone have any experience doing this? Is it just a matter of drilling out the rivets at the end of the muffler then trying to get the core out?

You should buy the Hindle re-pack kit right from Hindle. It works best and lasts if broke in properlyAnyone have any experience doing this? Is it just a matter of drilling out the rivets at the end of the muffler then trying to get the core out?

Drill out the rivets at the entrance end, pull the core and old packing out. Order a the proper packing kit for the length of silencer you have. They give you all the rivets . I’ve done my 20” system a few times in 11 years. You should buy the Hindle re-pack kit right from Hindle. It works best and lasts if broke in properly
