'06 Venture 2 up. Rear hand warmer shave never worked well. Front fry my hands and rarely use them. Are the rears a common problem and if so what is the fix? Thanks.

My 2010 Venture TF is the same - the rear ones are barely warm on "HI" and the handle bar hand and thumb warmers are too hot.

Had the same issue. The rear warmers are controlled by the ecm and control the load on the stator to prevent stator issues. I t controls the ground for the rear warmers. I cut the ground wire and grounded it to the frame, now they work when i want them to (which isn't very often).

I had the same (or perhaps a similar) problem with my '06. Turns out the cheapo OEM elements were broken where the wiring connects to the elements. It was an easy fix (by replacing the elements with aftermarket ones of better quality). To troubleshoot, pull the rubber boots behind the grips out of where they connect to the plastic chassis, fish out the electrical connection blocks, disconnect the plugs and put a multimeter on them to see what you get. While you're at it, roll the foam grip covers back to take a look at the element/wire connection visually. Then at least you'll know if you have to replace the elements.
