Has anyone tried these yet? How are they?
CDN prices.

Rear Rack

Yamaha exclusively designed rack, made from durable 5052-H32 aluminium. Hydro-turf platform offers better load stability. Includes accessory Exhaust Turnout (must be installed with rack - failure to do so could cause damage to rack and cargo).

You have to go to yamaha-motor.ca (canadian) then go to accesories. I don't know why Yamaha U.S. does not show all the accesories.

Is this for the FX chassis Nytro or the RS series? I can't find it either.

Anyone know a dealer in the Quebec area that could order this for me over the phone? I live in Maine about 60 miles from the border and could go pick up the rack on a saturday. I've been looking for a rack for my MTX and this one looks great. I tried to get Port Yamaha to order it but they say it is only available in Canada. Or if there is a Canadian dealer on TY4Stroke that would order and ship this to me.

I added a Cheetah Factory Racing "D" Rack to my XTX. The Double D would fit the MTX. I blocked the forward end of the rack with lightweight diamond plate and a few rivets to separate the cargo and exhaust, and added a custom bag to fill the space opposite the exhaust turnout. The bag is made of Tuff Tarp and gets pretty warm from being close to the muffler, and that's a feature I'm learning to use to my advantage.

You got a pix of the rack from the rear? Great looking set up!!

Here's the rear view. You can see I elevated the rack on some square tube to clear the tail light. I added a trailer hitch with a reinforcing subframe under the tunnel and that led me to fab a new bumper from aluminum tubing to clear the trailer tongue. The angle of the photo is deceiving, the tail light is not blocked from anyone behind me.
